To our SALT Community,
Who’s ready to get SALTY? We miss you more than ever and are thrilled to announce we’re opening our studio doors MONDAY, MAY 18TH. Until then, we’re dedicating our time to prepare for that first powerful breath with all of you! We’ve put careful consideration into crafting a new SALT standard — ensuring that when we reopen, it’s not only safe to do so, but continues to be a safe place for our instructors and clients.
It’s important for us to note that we will refine this process as things progress. It won’t be perfect from the start, but as we listen and learn, we’ll adapt.
We’ve always been dedicated to the cleanliness of our studios and health and safety of our community. We intend to take this commitment to the next level with our new SALT standard. Here’s what to expect when you return to our studios:
THE NEW SALT STANDARD
Our Heightened Deep-Cleaning Process.
Our team will use a powerful disinfectant proven to kill viruses in all common areas and high-touch surfaces from the door handles to the tap on the water tank after each class. Additionally, we’ll be undergoing a weekly professional deep cleaning process that includes a top-grade disinfectant fog.
Reduced Class Size.
In compliance with CDC recommendations, we have reduced capacity restrictions to 18 clients at Utica and 20 clients at South (per class). We will add classes to our schedule as necessary to accommodate demand. Current client packages will reactivate on Saturday, May 16th to enable you to book classes 2 weeks (begins at midnight) in advance. If you’d like to become a SALT client or need to purchase classes, click here.
Instructors will get temperature-checked before shifts.
Should you need to purchase equipment or retail, please allow instructors to pull the items for you. We’re requiring all clients have a credit card on file for contactless transactions.
Please remember to cancel 6 hours in advance if you are unable to attend class. We will be enforcing the NEW cancellation/no show policy effective immediately which includes a late cancel fee of $12 and a no-show fee of $18.
We’re removing high-touch equipment including mats, blocks, straps, blankets and towels and limiting our props to hand weights only, which will be sanitized after each class. Hair ties will be available behind the desk.
Make Your Class Reservation. We won’t be accepting walk-ins until further notice. We’re requesting clients only attend one class per day to give as many people a chance to practice. Late cancel and no-show fees will be strictly enforced.
When you book a class, you will be prompted to complete an updated liability waiver.
Please bring your own sanitized mat (front & back) along with any props, towels + water bottle. SALT will not provide any props beyond our hand weights that will be sanitized after each use. Mats + props will be available for purchase in our studios.
If possible, please come to class dressed and ready to go. Minimize items you need to bring into the studio. Although not required, we suggest clients wear a mask before and after class.
As weather permits, the door will remain open to the outside during arrival so touch will not be necessary.
Check-in is now hands-free. Let the front desk know when you arrive and they’ll check-in for you. Plan to arrive at least 10 minutes before class begins.
Floor markers will indicate yoga mat placement maintaining safe distances.
Upon entering the studio, please do not congregate in the lobby. Please place your personal items in the cubby and proceed into the studio to place your mat and prepare for class.
Instructors are here to help, from a safe distance. Teaching will be hands-off with verbal cues.
Late entry will not be permitted once the studio door closes and class starts.
Please leave your weights (if applicable) where you practiced and an instructor will properly sanitize them and return them to their home.
Disinfectant spray and paper towels or hand wipes will be available for you to use to sanitize your mat.
Hand sanitizer will be available as usual.
Please leave the studio at the conclusion of class to allow the instructor time to clean and disinfect before the next class.
KEEPING EACH OTHER SAFE
Aside from respecting the safety guidelines outlined by our government and our studio, we ask that our clients walk in with the approach our SALT family takes for most things: Go above and beyond for each other.
Please make sure to practice social distancing when in close, shared spaces like the lobby.
Limit person-to-person contact, including hugs + high fives.
If you have a fever, cough or other symptoms of COVID-19, please do not come to the studio until you’re symptom and fever free for three days.
If you have tested positive for COVID-19 or have knowingly come into contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, we ask that you do not come to the studio for 14 days or until you test negative for COVID-19.
If you feel unwell or have any concerns about coming in to practice, please stay home and stay safe. We’ll happily welcome you back when you’re feeling healthy again.
We will be pivoting from free online Facebook classes to a paid private FB Group continuing with our daily live stream class and access to on-demand videos. Current SALT clients with 1 year, 6 month or autopay packages will gain an all-access pass to our virtual classes at no extra charge when we reopen, adding tremendous value to your package level. Others can purchase a monthly subscription, which allow you to access SALT Yoga from anywhere. Whether you’re traveling for vacation, business or you feel more comfortable practicing at home, you’ll never have a day without SALT!
While we’re taking every precaution to keep our SALT community safe, we’re keenly aware we may need to fine tune and adjust things in the coming weeks and ask for your patience as this situation evolves.
Whether you plan to join us in the studio or feel more comfortable staying home and joining us on Facebook, we’re here for you. Contact us with any questions at hello@SALTYogaTulsa.com.
We are working to finalize the new class schedule along with other re-opening details.
We believe we’re better together and while our practice may feel a little different than before, we can be empowered by these changes to make the world a more salty space.
